Great recommendation. This is a very nice text.Obviously it's really close to Brave New World thematically. But given that Animal Farm is commonly studied in years 9 and 10 in a lot of schools, it's best to choose a more challenging text. You want to demonstrate to markers with your choice of related text that you have been exploring a range of options, and that you are engaging with challenging texts.
You could check out Terry Gilliam's Brazil, a film inspired by Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.
