I am not calling for all the educated and 'smart' people to leave but if they don't have a choice during a war in their country than they should of course be free to leave at their will.

Btw I also don't agree with the brain drain epidemic happening in third-world countries as its very counterproductive to the growth of those nations. However if their country has a lack of jobs suited to their academia and skills then they don't have a real choice. Especially if their country is in the middle of a war. Its at best complicated.

Minority groups which are prosecuted in conflcit zones like the Hazara, Assyrians, Chaldean and Yazidis definitely need to be given this opportunity.

Agreed. So many Assyrians are coerced into being Muslim, it's disgusting.
