For maths? No idea, I was never told. I don't think I'd be a top rank for 1141/1241 (surely people got > 96) but maybe in 1081 since I got 98 in that last semester (though, last semesters exam was fairly easy so who knows)

How many people get notified if they got a rank for a course? Is it like only the top 10 or does it depend on the course size?

Also does anyone know what course mark typically is required for getting a rank in law courses? For example, what course mark would be needed for torts to get the last rank that is given out, such as 10 th place for example? (i know it varies with each cohort, but any previous example from past years would be greatly appreciated)

Depends on the course/lecturer - totally possible no one gets notified too.
