Yo guys, I've got a question: if an object is in circular motion and the net force is towards the centre of circle, then why does it not slide towards the center but instead stay in a circular path ? Thanks

The net force is perpendicular to the velocity at any moment. So the net force is pulling and continually changing the velocity (by changing the velocity's direction) creating a clockwise or anti-clockwise circular motion. So basically the net force may be aimed at the centre, but the changing velocity is aimed perpendicularly.

Force doesn't always equal the motion of an object (Eg. an object with constant velocity has 0 net force, yet it is still moving in a direction).

Hope this helps.
