last years maths was such an anomoly sorry but that last question with the rats i think had really ugly values it wasnt even hard.
cosine rule questions had like 8 marks assigned to it thats nearly 10% of the paper
cricket question was easy if you read through it
meanwhile the smh is slobbering all over some maths students to cry over the exam and who didnt want to read more than a sentence for a simple question that came down to simultaneous equations so they could justify tabloid and hysterical headlines like "unfairest/hardest maths exam question ever"

yea it basically gave you the x and y values to sub in to solve for b and then you just had to sub in the x value and solve for y

For some reason, Sydney Morning Herald always loves to make students play the victim card on NESA when there is a hard exam because their audience is some people who have never done maths for quite a long time. No surprises.
