still confused about state rank is it that you achieve 100 on the exam and you come first in internals?

Depending on the particular subject in question, a student may not necessarily need to achieve an Examination Mark of 100 in order to achieve a state rank, although ranking first relative to the student's cohort in their school-based assessment tasks/exams is deemed essential in most instances.
