When we are using Faraday's law to explain do they generally follow the below trend:
Magnetic flux changes ---> A electromotive force (a voltage) is induced due to the change in flux (with reference to the equation) ---> A current is induced if the circuit is closed

generally yes, but questions may give you some parts and not others which forces you to use this logic in reverse. But this trend should be more than enough to tackle faraday questions if you are comfortable with the explanation.
