What's the best NESA approved calculator for math E1/E2. I'm talking as many functions as possible like vectors, complex numbers etc
its so hard to use bruh i only use it for exact valuesfx8200au
These calculators are good in some aspects, and bad in others. It's pretty clear Casio is leaning towards making a 'checking answers' type of calculator, rather than building on what they had with the fx 100au and fx82aus. Personally, I feel this may lead to a big syllabus change in the future, likely rendering the functions of the calculator as useless. Using Perms and Combinations on that calculator is a huge hassle, and takes a heap of time. Even when you check answers its a huge process of changing heaps of settings. The exact values setting is cool and all, but doesn't this just make you more reliant on the calculator? All in all though, I'm clearly just pointing out the negatives here, im sure theres more functions that would be useful on it so pls don't quote me!!fx8200au
For E1 and 2, just opt for the fx100au and you'd do absolutely fine. If you can buy two, I guess you should maybe purchase the 8200fx as well, but make sure that you know how to navigate through all of its settings! What's the best NESA approved calculator for math E1/E2. the fx8200au has a much more intuitive ui, we’re all just too used to the old calculator. ive used it for a few months now and I couldn’t go back, it is so much better. These calculators are good in some aspects, and bad in others. fine is an understatementyep, I used only fx100au+ second edition during senior years and did fine
trust me dont buy it. its way too close to the HSC and it takes forever to learn to use cuz its completely different.I currently have the fx-82au plus II so if I get the fx8200au I should be good for E1 + E2 right?
they’re in y11 it’s worth it for themtrust me dont buy it. its way too close to the HSC and it takes forever to learn to use cuz its completely different.
i take it into exams, but dont use it unless i need complex or exact values, which is rare because I'm used to doing it the normal way.
oh ok, then just ignore what i said.they’re in y11 it’s worth it for them
also I’d recommend just using it all the time you’ll get used to it faster than u think
