so how do i approach questions related to roots and coefficients of polynomials, the fitz 3U exercise is taking me out please send help!!!!!!!

write out the sum of roots, product of roots, sum of roots 2 at a time (if u want)
algebra bash the shit out of the question
maybe remember (a+b+c)^2 = a^2+b^2+c^2 + 2(ab+bc+ca)

fr lmfao. @chicken4koo u should see the syd gram 2022/23 paper i cant remem. THere was like 3 simultaneous equations you had to play around w to get the final answ. These are all just huge algebraic manipulation questions in a poly context lmao.

update finished the exercise!!!! some of the questions quite literally made me contemplate the meaning of my existence, but thank you, theres no easy way you just gotta "algebra bash"

it was the 2023 i think i remember seeing it when i was looking for practice questions
