Looking for degree recommendations at UNSW and USYD. Currently in year 12. Indicative ATAR 94. Ideally, I did like to pursue Law from UNSW/USYD which I can't get through with this ATAR. I am not keen on sciences or engineering. What other degree options are there which have good future prospects. My strong subjects are History/Italian/Economics.

You can definitely get in, 94 is super high and if you applied for early entry you should be fine for unsw. I know usyd offered my brother law two years ago on a conditional that he got 95. If you manage to push yourself a bit more, you have a chance

Thanks for the feedback. Which course did your brother get early entry into. Seems there is no early entry for Law in UNSW or USYD.

Loll he didn’t end up getting the 95, but he received an offer in the letter. It came with some usyd merch.

Unsw has the gateway early offer application, i know that because i applied for it. But, you have to do a double degree in law and something else to do it.

Honestly STEM usually has the best career prospects, not really humanities subjects - besides law. Maybe you could do law postgraduate? That's what I'm planning on doing since I really don't wanna do STEM and my ATAR is gonna be lowww. Or maybe you could pursue economics/business?

Also USYD has the MySydney scheme where you could get into Law with a lower ATAR. Maybe you could see if you qualify for that

the e12 scheme at usyd is no longer a thing, they just give the bonuses to any rural/disadvantaged student by default

Bachelor of Commerce? Accounting/Consulting pays quite well and super manageable workload and degree length. 94 would get UNSW Law if you applied via Gateway.
