Here is a quote from a radiohead song that i find to be really sweet, in such times as these..

“this is the first day of the rest of your days. So lighten up, squirt”

:)

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE EVEN IF EVERYTHING GOES TERRIBLY WRONG WE CAN SAY we got through THAT PAPER!! And then we can all rant about it here later!
”sit down you’re safe now”

HAS ANYONE GOT FINAL TIPS FOR UNSEEN TEXTS?????????????
Do short answer first. Don't go straight into the essay.

1. Make sure you understand the sentence
2. Make sure the sentence has a technique
3. You can relate it to the question (this should usually be pretty simple because of how subjective English is)

3 Marks - 1 topic sentence, 2 techniques + analysis
4 Marks - 1 topic sentence, 3 techniques + analysis
5 Marks - 2 paragraphs or 1 big paragraph with a topic sentence, 4 techniques + analysis
and so on and so forth.

IT DOES NOT MATTER THE COMPLEXITY OF THE TECHNIQUE. Analysing and relating a simile to the question will get just the same amount of marks as analysing and relating a polysyndeton. Don't overcomplicate things unless you want to run out of time for your essay.

At least that's what I'm doing. :spin:
