we bouta get an imo inequality in q16I reckon there’ll be more algebraic proof questions

I’m pretty sure IMO inequalities aren’t as common in IMO anymore cuz of the possibility of bashing them out (idk it’s not like I’d know how to solve them)we bouta get an imo inequality in q16
yea tru we more likely to get some complex bashing geometry question but if the exam markers are lazy they could totally just steal an inequality off aops lolI’m pretty sure IMO inequalities aren’t as common in IMO anymore cuz of the possibility of bashing them out (idk it’s not like I’d know how to solve them)
In all seriousness, inequalities ain’t even that bad like 95% of the time. Anything vectors related usually makes me wanna kms (excluding ruse 2022)
Yeah it’s easier have a look at the 2022 paper thats abt as hard as it’s been so far imoIs the 2020 hsc easy in comparison with the others ? Caus thats the only one ive done
No, we cannot quote it. Most of the proofs will be requiring you to prove it for those 3/4 cases. You must also prove the basic case. However, you can reference it in a later question if you need to.also are we allowed to use am/gm for greater than 2 without proof (unless the question specifically asks to prove it)
because ive seen trials where am/gm for 3/4 is allowed to be used without proof
is this the case for hsc?
Yep. Its the easiest by a considerable marginIs the 2020 hsc easy in comparison with the others ? Caus thats the only one ive done
wasnt q13 c last year an 8 marker projectile motion question? we probably will get one in q14 or 15 i reckon thoView attachment 44941
What do you guys think? I think a we may get a harder proj motion question this year maybe q13 or 14.
if it does appear then it will probably be some squeeze theorem with riemann squares. usually the questions arent too hard thothoughts on calculus/geometric inequality proofs? haven’t seen that in a while
yess my math tutor said that its getting harder each yearIs the 2020 hsc easy in comparison with the others ? Caus thats the only one ive done
By any chance, are you able to post an example of a question like this?if it does appear then it will probably be some squeeze theorem with riemann squares. usually the questions arent too hard tho
ruse 2020By any chance, are you able to post an example of a question like this?
is this worth trying to understand?ruse 2020
