My mate and I also wrote this… but one of them was doubting it so I just wanted to check what other people did. It really couldn’t have been anything else. Hopefully you went well for the rest of it.

Is Q8 even in syllabus? Knowing that exp(x+iy) = exp(x)exp(iy) surely isnt in the scope of 4u. I’m sure most 4u students have discovered exp(z)^n = exp(nz) doesn’t always hold true for non integers (hence demoivres only being true for integers) so to expect them to know the addition of exponents does always hold true in complex field is a bit iffy.
