Hey, I went SMSHS graduated with a 80+ atar. The cohourt is decent, but the responsibilities in your hand and not the teachers. Whether you can work independently is something crucially assessed as most work you'll realise is they don't just hand-feed you stuff. Very similar to university.

personally with friends from there i dont reccomeend to smshs, but if its for a reason like wanting to get subjects u cant be offererd at ur currnet school or etc then i suggest considering

Idk about these people but I recommend St Marys. My biggest fear before moving was that my teachers wouldn't help me, as its an "adult learning environment." But, majority teachers will help you IF you ask for it, the biggest responsibility you have is actually shutting up and listening in class. For drafting you shouldn't worry too much, English allows you to show your work as much as you want and gives a bunch of written feedback. The humanities department as well, apart from those I don't think the others do besides brief general advice. The science and math teachers are questionable but hopefully you'll be fine lol.

i just graduated from their!! my take is that its a good school, but some of the teachers lowkey suck so u kinda gotta learn the contenet by yourself, theres afterschool free tutorials and stuff for help too. i personally liked the schoool it was fun and also allowed me to develop good studying techniques and habbits

they also have alot of extracurricular activities, they do duke of ed tooo, lots of clubs
