so i did this question but i don't understand WHY this is what I'm supposed to do for the answer.

its really simple 6 employees, 3 cashier 2 clerk 1 typist each group is indistinguishable amongst themselves

u can think of the cashiers clerks and typist as "identical" as they have the same role. there are 6! different total combinations but you have to divide by 3!x2! to account for the repeated employee roles because the question is asking for distinctive teams

yep i would think of it like a word, cashiers= A, clerks = B, typists = C
so like AAABBC and you can arrange it like you would a word with repeated letters

thank god no combinatorics in the mx1 exam i hope it fucking rots in hell and burns there too where it rightfully should be shit fucking topic, i don't even know it till this day and i'm still vibing 💪
