I don't know if any drama thread has been posted yet but here's a thread for Drama which is on Oct 31st.
Any thoughts about the exam?
My texts are
Stolen and Neighbourhood Watch (Contemporary Australian Theatre)
The Rover and Box the Pony (Voice of Women in Theatre)

Also wondering if anyone has experiential examples or just general notes for the Rover or Box the Pony as I'm looking around for notes on those 2 texts and can't really find anything

Good luck everyone!

Hey guys!!
I honestly have no predictions for drama, but i have a feeling they might be quite specific questions
Anyway, i was wondering if anyone had the CSSA, or Independent trial paper from this year?

Okay so my boyfriend's dad is a senior marker, and he just sent me this. Idk if this will be the question or not, but theres a good chance.

'Australian plays explore the different ways people cope when things change or go wrong.'

Discuss this statement, with reference to the dramatic forms, styles and conventions of the plays you have studied, showing how Australian plays put changing circumstances on the stage, and how the characters respond, noting the varying theatrical styles and techniques which communicate distinctly Australian values and attitudes presenting ideas through the powerful use of space. Compare how the plays that you have studied use the development of tension to take their audience on a particular journey, portraying the struggles of the characters and the juxtaposition of entertainment and comedic challenge on stage.

In your answer, you should refer to TWO texts set for the topic you have studied.

I think if you don’t do monologue you’re unlikely to get nominated as most are monologues or GPs, there’s only one script in onstage and I didn’t get nominated which doesn’t necessarily mean I did bad just that it’s not the top script in the state haha

My script is very dear to me though as I’m going to write a book inspired by it in the holidays which is now that I’m finished
