hi guys.... so i got an unconditional offer to go to macquarie for speech and hearing sciences which im super happy about! the only issue is is that its NOT ACCREDITED!!! meaning i'll have to do my masters unless i want to transfer over to a different course (doing speech pathology, preferably at acu or usyd) and was wondering if you guys think that could be possible to transfer over after 6 months or a year????

acu speech pathology is 82 and I think you're definitely capable of that
I think I'd just wait and see if you get in first, no point worrying about it now

acu has a lot of adjustment factors for most year 12 students, check them out on their website, you can get up to 10 adjustments. If you don't get into acu, wsu, or usyd speech, that's fine!
ACU only requires a minimum of 2 units of study to consider admission on the basis of uni results

I just checked acu's website to confirm and it's even better, the max adjustment factors is 12 :awesome:

"If you’re eligible for one or more adjustment factor categories, your ATAR / OP / selection rank can be adjusted upward to give you a new, higher entry score. This score is then used to assess your eligibility for entry into our courses.
Normally, a maximum of 12 adjustment points can be applied to your base score from the different adjustment factor categories."

I couldn't paste the link for some reason, but there's a page called "adjustment factors- acu", and it has a full list of all their adjustments and tools to see if ur eligible. the lowest raw atar on uac for acu speech path was 71.3 which means there's def people who got in through adjustments
