people saying it was a linear trend, I swear it was exponential...
a non infectious disease will never have an exponential trend, the number of people with diabetes won’t influence the probability somebody else gets diabetes

but the data given was increasing at an increasing rate. It didn't ask to predict what the future trend would be, it asked you to draw a line of best fit for the data provided

I think because the risk of diabetes type 1 increases as you age, and that humans are living longer it could be?

by drawing a line of best fit you would be assuming it is linear though. I would say that it is quite strange to draw a line of best fit for a percentage which does not maintain a constant gradient, and it should be okay if you overestimated the figure due to it continuing to increase.

did anyone get a percentage lower than 7?
Did anyone else write way more than the space provided even with small writing so you could include absolutely anything and everything relevant just to guarantee the marks? I wrote like 3 pages for final question and 2 full pages for the bacterium
yes bro i had all the time in the world to write as much as i wanted
