@enlargedthroat and @Bendwhat?_over I have questions abt the excel yr 11 chem vs actual school work

I have my schools chem textbook and i've been looking through yt science ready too. Sometimes in the excel they are going through topics in a bit more depth...i'm currently doing molecular and empircal stuff under the topic percentage composition, however in my school textbook there is barely a few pages on it and science ready doesn't talk abt it in that vid. Should I go through it or not?

nvm i think i just accidentally went into mod 2 instead T-T
Usually finding videos on the specific topic helps for me when textbooks or other resources don't provide sufficient information.

i think i found a quicker way idk if the logic is right tho what i did was this:
1st : divide by 3^x
2nd: take log base 2/3 of both sides

i think that works it seems to make senseScreenshot 2025-01-10 175400.png

Is there textbooks for yr 11 engineering studies or is the senior course the same thing
I'm pretty sure the prelim and hsc engineering studies courses are different u can look at the syllabus here: (https://educationstandards.nsw.edu....013+Engineering+Studies.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&CVID=)

And there aren't any like mainstream textbooks like by cambridge or pearson from what I know of but there is this which seems promising: (https://www.fivesenseseducation.com.au/engineering-studies-definitive-guide-vol-1-9780980400373)

EDIT: Maybe this thread can help you better (https://boredofstudies.org/threads/which-textbook-do-u-use-for-engineering-studies.176948/)

chem. BUT OMG THE EXCEL BOOK IS PISSING ME OFF
like i get the content and when i got to answer the questions, they're in a language i don't understand T-T
The pearson is pretty good, but perhaps the questions it gives are optimistic; much easier than it would be in an actual test.

Anyhow I don't think one should be practicing for tests already - just learning the content ahead.

um no... i accidentally kipped a few topics though and then went onto percentage formula and empirical stuff in mod 2
ah okay I actually remember last year my sci teach gave me this module 2 printed workbook thing for chem as per my request (cuz i didn't have resources) and I did the whole thing I kinda forgot a bit but I remember finishing all problems with mistakes of course but most of the basic ones I could do. Have you done limiting reagent probs?
