    Failed English today.
    I think I got:

    Section 1: 10/15 => maybe even full marks :D
    Section 2: 6/20 => highest i can get is like 10/20

    so that means:
    estimated mark: 16/35 :( below 50%
    highest mark I can get: 20/35 which isn't too bad I guess...

    Chemistry exam next. I will fail that. I just want to get above 50%.

    Failing my first three exams.. Gotta have my revenge in the Maths paper. vengeance is sweet :p

    My life has been black and white for the past 2 weeks, it's sooooo boring.
    I'm doing at least 3 hours of study per day argh.

    But luckily I think it paid off today.
    I'm happy with what I did in the first yearly exam, we'll see how it goes!

    Best of luck to you also and out-stereotype those douche bags who think Asians are not fit for the top English class and write out something they can't mark down ;)

    Started on complex number for 4 unit. (self learning)
    OMG the basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and stuff were alright

    But when I got to the solving bits. It was like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    btw, I'm using the Excel Mathematics Extension 2 book by S.K Patel to teach myself. That's the only book I have.

    i've got a minimum of 2000 words to write for english left. i'm basically only coming to school for drama and my friends since the rest of the school day is getting so hard to sit through. at least today was "McAuley Day" at our school so instead of long tutor group they had bands playing in our main area and sold hot food and cold cans. the only proper band rather than solo guitarists and singers was a group of teachers!

    i could manage that for drama, SOR and bio, but english and chem will be a stretch :( if i get on top of my english then i shall go straight to my maths notes all weekend. damn, i was hoping to relax

    how am i supposed to get a good enough ATAR for medicine with scores any lower than 90%? i find a lot of bio is common sense: Aus. has lots of bushfires, therefore the flora has adapted or died. easy. i used to be very religious before i went atheist and i had great religion teachers the last 12 years. my drama scores are best though, for performance i'm always at 95%

    i'm not studying for bio or religion. i expect to get 90% for bio and maybe 80% for SOR. if i get any more than 50% for maths or 70% for chem i will be surprised. english is going to be painful but i'll aim for 70%

    i started studying alright...the wrong topics!!! argh!!! and i'm supposed to be writing three formatives for english as well as an absurdist play for drama. one formative is supposed to be a thousand words long. it's due first period tomorrow and so far i've reached zero words. the next is a page for monday and another page for friday. strategy: write up to 400 words, tell my teacher tomorrow i forgot and continue friday night. then i leave for sydney saturday and will have to put up with my sisters while writing my next one coz i won't have my own room :(

    Made my subject selections (final - no changes) today:
    English Standard
    Mathematics Extension 1
    Mathematics Extension 2
    Studies of Religion 1
    Ancient History
    Economics
    History Extension

    = 12 units = 7 subjects = 6 free periods a fortnight :(

    I'm insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even work with 5 subjects, and now 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :( Do I have a chance of getting a UAI (or ATAR) above 99?

    i admire anyone who can be bothered to get one side of the rubix cube correct. unfortunately my patience (or lack of it in this case) limits me to using them as fancy paperweights that make you look smart
