From what I can gather, Pure is essentially Maths for the sake of Maths or - Maths that is abstract and has no use in the real world *yet*. Applied on the other hand has real world applications.

Yea, was a little disappointed I didn't get 90 in Music and 4U since I was close >.< And was quite disappointed in how low Physics was.... but very happy at how high English was! Hahahah.
