have you been to their open days or other events? They can help you get a feeling for the campus and if you enjoy it there. Both USYD and UNSW have great reputations for science and are high in the rankings. Though don't put too much stress on rankings, they aren't always a great representation...

how active is BOS for uni studies? Didn't use it enough during hsc until the end, think it would be helpful next year but idk if anyone uses it or not

the uac calculator uses aligned marks (the ones you got today) rather than raw marks (the actual % you got right). So if u did it before getting results it would have been way off
