It was kind of a boring exam imo... the essay questions weren't particularly inspiring and the 12 marker didn't know what it was. I was hoping for architecture or a sculpture
for real i get really worried about the gender/culture/time period of all of the artists. i ended up studying like 7 for trials with two artworks each haha
eugene von guerard, emily kam kngwarreye, ai wei wei and kazamir malevich are my main ones, but ive also been looking at pacita abad, yayoi kusama and vincent namatjira just to have enough examples haha
get your teacher to read extended responses. check the marking critera, especially ones that break down what you need to do earn each mark - i find this is usually enough for short answers. get peer feedback if you can, swap answers with your friends. but marking guidelines and example responses...
malcolm x question would be soo good imo i enjoyed learning about him because before y12 i had only really learned about the nvda part of the crm. lowkey such a blessing they haven't assessed the survey for indochina, theres so much going on
i did indochina for peace and conflict and we got great questions for that too - it was "why was there conflict in indochina from 1954?" and "why did anti-war movements emerge in response to the conflict in vietnam?" (not in exact words). i was expecting some really niche and specific question...
alignment this year could honestly go either way. the questions were really easy for my essay sections but ive heard that they were a bit all over the place for other people esp for conflict in europe. i think the core section's questions were a bit weird and that 15 marker might have a big...
the communist victory question was a bit unexpected imo but i agree i did not feel like doing an essay on the approaches ahaha. p&a was so weird i agree. i hadn't seen a comparison question about the value of the sources before and the 15 marker? huh.
literally me too.. it was soo bad during trials i would get 8 hours of sleep, go to breakfast and then come back to my room and sleep for another 5 hours.
I get that lol... it's so crazy how much you have to remember only to be asked on two syllabus points. It makes me a little mad sometimes ngl
I guessed there was gonna be a leadership questions but I thought it was gonna be comparison between king and X. I used the same events in part b and c...
I was hoping for the 3/4/6/12 split again... source eval, account for perspective. Is this the first year they haven't tested the survey in either of the short ans questions?
Thats so good that you went over it!! I'm gonna sound absolutely insane when I say this but I always get a gut feeling about what's going to be on the exam like two days before it?? I knew there was gonna be a Japanese imperialism q for China so I studied it soo much and there was!
I'm glad that...
I was hoping for cambodia too ngl I find it soo interesting so I studied it a lot plus I've been there which is pretty helpful! I did my ihi on it last yr too but nesa can't let us have anything
