If you get Distinctions for all assessments in a particular unit, does it mean that you HAVE to get a D overall? I got a D in all 3 assessments for one of my units, and a raw mark of 80/100 overall. Will I get 80, or does scaling come into play?

Me too, lol. So say, you get a 63 the first time, then a 65, it does increase your GPA? I guess that that's good, but yes, it would be better if it just overtook it.

What I mean is, does it override the original result, or is listed independently?

If you repeat a passed unit, and get a credit, distinction or high distinction, what happens?

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. I'm not saying that PC is good though, but in context of F, it's great. It means 1 GPA point and 3 (or whatever amount) of credit points, instead of 0 and 0. Speaking about the difference between 45 and 64, yeah, only 1 GPA point between them, but what about the...

I completely agree. It's kind of a defeatist attitude. I guess a lot of people just see it as kind of a bludge, before full time work.

True, but if you're sure you'e going to fail, then you get 45, you'd have to be pretty happy. I know my friend bludged all semester, then got 44. He'd kill for 45.

All Credits - 70, 65, 65.

One of my friends got 44 this semester. Ouch.
