In your cohort, where is your standing. Say for example in a subject like English if there are 50 people doing it, then where are you positioned. For e.g. like 1st out of the 50, 20th out of 50 etc etc.

Aim for 90s in all your subjects, never limit your ATAR goal. Imo everyone should AIM for 99.95 and it's just a matter of how close you get to it at the end of the day. Also try playing around with an ATAR calculator online

Yep, often your teachers will set homework just out of their personal interest which may not be part of the syllabus. In this case just try and avoid it. Just make sure to have the syllabus (printed) with you at all times and stick close to it.

LOL, didn't even sit the UMAT and didn't have med as any of my preferences... And tbh you're the only person I know who has to do 100 hour weeks just for the HSC. Btw, with this kind of attitude you're not going to get ANYWHERE as a doctor or any other job for that matter...

Sit at a desk and brain storm all your ideas out on paper no matter how stupid they may sound. Then come back the next day and keep adding thoughts to the piece of paper. Once you think you have enough ideas and a skeleton for an essay this is when you start adding in all the finer details...
