Your ATAR doesn't mean shit anymore, so you don't have to worry about that. Your entry will depend on your marks/GPA from your current Uni. If I recall a 2.5 GPA is required for transfer of degrees (and as you mentioned you have a 5 GPA so I assume you are from UWS?) and you should be fine.

To add to what Azure said about math skills, you can also go to the Numeracy Centre for assistance with anything you don't understand. (Hell that's one of the main reasons i passed ACST101 :D)
