no no. i mean if hypothetically i got 65 assessment mark for lets say chemistry . that would be my mark before it gets moderated. so isn't the HSC mark your EXTERNAL (hsc exam) + moderated assessment? so if i got 65 assessment mark and 92 external mark then my assessment mark of 65 would...

top 15/60 for bio top 20/ 60 for religion top 20/45 for chemistry and our schoool rank was 48th last year

ok thanks so if i get moderated marks over 85 its possible to get good HSC marks and possibly a good atar? and so rankings really mean nothing they just see the disparity between each student...

ok say i get 55/64 for english but top 10-15 / 60 for my remaining 8 units.... can i still improve my english and get a good moderated and HSC mark ? which would lead to a good atar even though my ranking was horrible?
