So overnight the dettol seems to have done a pretty good job. Still has some disgusting stains but i can live with that. Currently have the bag drying in the sun which should hopefully get rid of any mould left anyway. On the pyro-technics front i feel bad for having to disappoint everyone...

Yeah, next time i'm thinking of decomposing bananas in my bag i'll decide against it... Hmm no hose lol. Put it under the garden tap and got rid of some mould. Still has little pesky white bits and a disgraceful smell though. I'm beginning to think either the bin or a good old fashioned...
