nope. i get tuesday off in semester 1. semester 2 is fucked because everyone took the monday tut for law and ethics, so i'm at uni everyday. two days are only lectures though, heaps not keen to catch a two hour train for a two hour lecture then catch another two hour train home.

i think you also need to enrol in your second semester subjects at the same time, there are three compulsory units then you get a choice between two for the remaining 6cp. imoo they don't set out the timetable for you, you get to choose when you attend lectures/tutes from the times they have...

you can enrol remotely - that's what i did since i live a while away from the uni

LOL yes exactly, everyone seems to think that. they're shocked when i'm like, 'if it's not on the shelf we don't have it'. i think people imagine there's some sort of massive warehouse, if anyone saw it they'd be like 'wtf it's just a shoebox with no windows and inadequate lighting'.

i'm 18 and only got a tax file number early this year, but i'm pretty sure i was supposed to have got one ages ago. even if you don't make enough to pay tax you just have to file an exemption. that being said, i didnt get arrested or anything so im sure you'll be fine.

yeah it's always asians serving at the one i go to. but they're nice anyway, doesn't really bother me. i like the strawberry milk tea. i had the strawmania one the other day (banana, peach, strawberry) and it was nice. they're good on really hot days when i have to walk home.
