What are you getting result check/ raw mars for?. Someone on here got economics back. Seems like it aligned bad this year

Some people have received their raw marks back today. Waiting for my results check and raw marks for engineering.

No. We only get our ranks, final assessment mark and final exam mark which are then added together to give the HSC mark.

Depends because lower marks seem to align quite a lot, whilst higher marks align no where near as much. My guess is that a B5 will be around 64-67 and a B4 will be 48-52

Nope!! A 75 raw last year was an 83-84. Band 6 was more like 82 raw

If a Band 6 is around 75 (which l dont think it will be that low) then a Band 5 would be more like a 62.

Yeah l would agree. There were some crappy questions so l would think band 6 between 79-81 and band 5 65-67

Share your thoughts on what you think the raw marks will be for a Band 5 and 6. Last Year Raw Marks: Band 5: 68-70 Band 6: 81-83

I know very little achieve this each year, but l just want an indication of alignment etc. What would a 93% raw mark align to?

I found Q20 to be a very good question, by defining the three skills and relating them to a contribution you should do well. Q21 a) and b) was very easy, and c) lm not to sure about because l ran out l time, (slow writer, because l broke my middle finger) but l wrote 5 pages so you never know.

You are 100% right about that. My teacher is a chief marker and he said that they will be having fun with q's like 10 and 15, because technical there is 2 answers that are correct, but only 1 is most correct if you get what l mean. I think the questions were poorly worded. What do you think...

How did everyone go? I think l got two mc wrong, but so happy with the rest.

70 would probably be around 80-84, and 78 is probs about 87-89.

With your current rankings you're just sitting below 80, so with a bit of hard work you can definitely achieve that
