Roy, which past papers examine questions out of the syllabus? My teacher and I agree that the syllabus is very broad and unreliable. Dot points like the logic gate one in PPT. We're looking at the old syllabus only. The 2013 syllabus is for the 2013 HSC and beyond.

There are actually sample answers of the drawings on Board of Studies from the 2008-2011 papers. Start by doing those. If you want further practise, do the pre-2008 drawings and ask your teacher to correct mistakes.

Onhermis, I am 99.99% certain that you are correct. The exact value on my calculator was 65.8179...... Found the parallel force required to move the block first then used trig to find force P.

definitely don't cram. know your stuff throughout the course, constantly revise and you won't ever need to cram.

unfortunately at my school, the top students in 2u all do 3u. i'm sure there's some advantage in doing 3u for the 2u course?
