What are some examples of other factors come into play?

I think that may be because your 1 unit subject doesn't count. (English Ext 2 right?) For me though, 1 unit of Eng Ext 1 counts and another unit of Modern counts. I think they have trouble with dividing the 2 unit subject or something.

None of the ATAR calculators are working with 11 units. (Only 1 unit of Modern History will count for me) Does anyone know a way to do it?

Any of the major newspapers are good. Just read a whole range of them, and read them a lot. As long as you use your own brain to distinguish fact from opinion, it doesn't matter which ones really.
