    Good/Worth it?

as with most FAQ questions, there are numerous threads on this. if you love having a deeper and more interesting insight into texts, do it. if advanced was a weetbix+vegemite blended into a sludge, extension would be a fucking awesome smoothie with marshmallows and shit on top

    UMAT mark ranges

Could be all three factors. Similar scores can have vastly different percentiles - on the Medentry trial exam I got 16/30 (60th percentile) and my friend got 19/30 (90th percentile). I think the score/percentile curve is pretty steep.

    Whats so good about med?

alright, alright, i was semi-kidding. obviously it's tough, you get treated like dirt, work at the equivalent of $10/hr, get sued, have huge debts and zero non-med friends. it was just a list. a list.

Should I consider medicine or just forget it?

I only wish I'd kept it so I could post it again...and again...and again.... It was an incisive slice of the truth.

MedEntry UMAT Trial Exam 2009 - Indicator of UMAT score?

Medentry said they'd send us some kind of posting about our likely percentiles/interview chances using the workshop trial exam marks, has anyone actually received this? I went to the 9th/10th May workshop and got: s1: 30/44 s2: 27/35 s3: 16/30 Like OP, I assume this is good??

Start Major Work in Yr 11? Good Idea?

It sure is smart - best case scenario you get a chunk of your work written, worst case your ideas will still mature and you'll get practice writing an extended composition. It really can be on anything at all - draft a few potential ideas? No idea about the multimedia/website option.
