You don't need to do one strictly 6 UOC gen ed. It means you need to do 6 UOC WORTH of gen ed. That means you can choose 2 X 3uoc GEN ED :)

It's not necessary. Everything you need to know are in the lectures :) Just do both PSYC1001 and 1011. Psychology is a different kind of science compared to Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

kow_dude has basically covered the first two methods. For the recombinant DNA techology, I think it is referring to manipulating the expression of undifferentiated cells to become blood cells. so you can created "artificial blood" if you like.
