Module B = Critical Study of texts So you can give your personal critique, but I believe that to achieve a high mark, you should at least make reference to a couple of critics.

Have you learnt about some critics and their judgements in class? If you have, use those.

What texts are you doing? I'm doing Poetry by Kenneth Slessor, and my teacher states, 'your critics are simply the related texts for this module. Only have a few that speak about the text and one that refers to the Poet.' So yes, I would use a couple of critics, it will surely boost your marks.
