plenty of time to make big improvements :) 1 year today and you'll be finished school as well so that's some motivation that you don't have too long haha

here's some motivation from me :) compare my ranks prelim: maths 70ish english 120ish pd 20ish bio 30ish physics 40ish HSC maths: 9 english: 100 pd: 8 bio: 8 physics: 10 nothing at all is stopping you from doing awesomely in the HSC. I switched on in year 12 and it has worked great for me...

this isn't an english exam... OP your school would have sent in your assessment marks/ranks to the BOS by now. i didn't think that they scaled/aligned them or provided an ATAR estimate with what they submit but don't quote me on it. there's nothing you can do now besides trying to do very well...

just say over 9,000... or 50,000. that works too

if you're thinking like that, why not have something like: 10 units besides english sitting an external exam/interview to gauge your english ability and if you have good communication skills then you get accepted into that course?

i'm preparing for hamlet by just writing a page of notes for my themes, and reading key scenes when i'm bored. I really need to start writing essays lol

doing the 2008 2U HSC paper i have absolutely no idea what you're supposed to do with question 9 c) i. and ii. i have the worked answers in my book but i don't understand why you work it out that way. if you could give a clear explanation that would be much appreciated :)

this is why using full stops as a multiplication symbol is stupid and confusing. putting a times sign removes all confusion. also, in your guys working shouldnt you show that 9^x gets turned into (3^x)^2 instead of jumping straight to the next line?

depending on the size this is true. but if you write 300 words a page that adds up to less than 4 pages all up. If you can write 300 words on a page without it being illegible that's some nice handwriting haha. I personally struggle to get 4 pages per essay which is something i need to work on :/

he said now 3 hours a day and stepping it up lol. personally from the holidays i'll be aiming for at least 6 hours a day concentrating evenly on my subjects - hopefully more on english since i need it but probably won't happen :/ past papers + reading notes - when i don't want to do a past...
