I've been told by Faculty of Pharmacy that the annual intake of Pharm students is approx. 300 (or maybe it was 250) - 250 CSP and 50 DFEE places.

Since you've gotten 150+ in STAT, and a good UAI in the 90s.. then I reckon go for BPharm @ USyd ;) I've heard alot that people really enjoy BPharm... I've even seen some of the subject material that we do in 1st semester nxt year, and it looks pretty interesting.

I think that they give you the $6000 to spend how you like (only towards educational purposes obviously), you can put it towards fees, or buy textbooks/computer etc etc. cm90, i highly doubt 0.05 makes any difference lol.

well I'm not suree.. Someone said that they shortlist more people than they have scholarships... so its not 100% certain that we get the scholarship if we get UAI above 95. I really want one for pharmacy too.... my hope is when the mail comes in today there will be a letter from Pharm...

Apparently they're calling people. vmoore got called up by Veterinary Sciences.. he got Entry scholarship :D I'm so nervous... I so badly want a POSITIVE phonecall from Pharmacy faculty tomorrow............

They have to nominate the top academic achiever even if they have only one UNSW course somewhere in their preferences, its the rules of the scholarship. So now, no one will get that money...

It's the scholarship thingy... every school in NSW nominates their top academic achiever to be awarded a scholarship by UNSW. U only get access to the $4000 if you go to UNSW.

I got the $4000 from UNSW waiting for me if I decide to go UNSW (not gonna happen though), and a certificate from the school. My name also goes up on the massive plauqe in the Admin block :) lol

My school's dux last year had a UAI of 95.20. :P
