lol so the top marks in each of the courses we saw in the HSC, for example 99, 98.... are all just aligned to that high mark?? In reality, the raw marks could be something like 94, 95??

jimbo, no one in this forum can tell you what you need in each courses to get a UAI of 94+. You ability in each courses vary and it would be inpractical to tell you precisely what HSC marks you should aim for. The best you could do is to try and achieve as high as you can.

May be 100, since one girl last year got 100 without doing any extension courses. :)

I meant to say low 90s Yes, i know this person is from Sydney Boys, but he/she is a below average student in all of the courses. You must also put that into consideration. The school doesn't tell you everything, but an indication of how tough the competition is. Therefore, if you are below...

Is it safe to assume that in most courses, the raw marks will be "aligned up"?? for example, a raw mark of 89 in chemistry will aliggned to 90?? A raw mark of 62 in Mathematics will be aligned to 70?? possible?

Why tutor for ESL? Is it worth it? I didn't do any tutoring, and I'm fine....

You will probably JUST make it to 75. If you want 80, you MUST improve you IPT and Visual Art to the 70's to have any chance.

Mathematics will most likely not to be counted in your best 8 units plus English. Since you've done so well in IT, make sure you get higher in that one, while improve your English as it is compulsory, to make sure you'll get 85. :) Good luck.
