It depends on your school. With Mathematics, I tend not to look at the syllabus. Unlike other subjects with modules/dot points etc. Mathematics is quite different. It's basically a wide range of topics, which you have to learn in 2 years, and it doesn't really matter what order you learn them in...

1. 7-2(1-2x) = 7 - 2 + 4x = 5 + 4x 2. 5x-5(2x+1) = 5x - 10x - 5 = -5x - 5 3. 5-2(x-2) = 5 - 2x + 4 = 9 - 2x 4. 7(x-3)+1 = 7x - 21 + 1 = 7x - 20 Yeah, it looks like it was pretty challenging for you.
