Yeah, I agree that Mathematics is the only subject in which homework is necessary. For the subjects I'm doing, particularly Biology and Physics, I find it more appropriate to understand the concept, apply it and memorise it.
They just ask you questions like:
Why do you want to join our school?
What can you contribute to our school community?
What skills can you bring to our community?
What are your career aspirations?
Sacrificing 2 years is a small price to pay for the satisfaction of knowing that you'll be able to pursue whatever career aspirations you may have in your future.
If you love the subject, and have good ranks and results in them, I see no reason to suggest why you should not be considering picking up Extension 2 English.
Usually there are four stages:
Pre exam:
I study
I panic because I feel that I am not studying enough
Exam:
I concentrate so much on the exam and do it really fast
I check it so many times
Post-Exam/Pre-Results:
I'm fairly relaxed and composed, nothing to worry about for a while...
