Remember that the state average UAI is 66.xx. so no, if you try really hard it is not certain you will get over 75. However, I know a lot of people who barely gave the HSC any effort and got well above 75.

i'm thinking of a combined degree: econ/Arts(international relations). Is that what you mean by specialisation in a particular region or issue? I would lke to learn a language though, just for fun. perhaps outside of uni where I won't get marked on it.
