The best way to find casual work is to use your feet. Make a nice resume that doesn't contain too much information. Get a fair few copies of it. Get your walking shoes on and walk everywhere you would be willing to work. Ask them if they have any positions available. If they say no, ask if...

I wouldn't worry too much if you end up doing it at uws... I think it would be the kind of industry where your talent rather than the place you went to uni would count when you were looking for jobs etc. The whole uni prestige thing is kinda overrated. Especially for some career paths...
