    Communications degree's

    Journalism is a lot of practical work... you have to go out and get stories and write them, plus you learn the theory. It's good, and if you want a career in journalism UTS is the place to be in my opinion. I've written tons more stuff about the course, and I can't be bothered to write it out...

    I thought it was the NSW State Government that was in defecit due to teacher payrises, not the federal? I'm not sure though. But it so expensive... especially for those of us who have to add living costs on to that. Arts Degree= $4000 a year Living in Sydney= $14000 a year Uni Fees...

    Fire/ Bomb Threat/ False Alarm

    UTS and fire alarms, grr.... where I live, the fire alarm is set off usually once a week. Sometimes in the early hours of the morning... e.g. a couple of weeks ago the americans set it off because they were baking cookies at 3am (must have been hash cookies if you ask me!!!)

    Don't drop it.... if I had dropped the subjects I was going to drop, my UAI would have been adversely affected because they ended up counting....
