when you type it into the calculator, its -60 ;) cos^-1 and cos will "cancel out" to give you a graph y = x. however, this graphs isnt just y=x. substitute values in and from the top of my head, you should get like a sawtooth looking graph. you might want to try multiplication of ordinates ;)

inverse trig doesnt have general solutions ;) well..duh... they wouldnt teach you something that wasnt important and assessable :rolleyes: i remeber these for general solutions: sin x = sin a x = a + 2kpi and (pi - a) +2kpi cos x = cox a x = +/- (a) + 2kpi tan x = tan a x = a + kpi

i think ANU offers actuary as well... since when did USYD offer actuary? i know UNSW you have to major in it via a Bcom. IN fact, Actuary/LLB has just been introed into Macq. I wonder what the cut off for that would be :o Mac uni is the best for actuary because it was the first uni to teach...

is this for UNSW only or for all uni's having Med. Sci? :eek: thats does sound a bit bad though not having majors... ouch

yeah, and like a distinction average is so easy :rolleyes: it was moreover you need at least 80 in all of your subjects and this need to be maintained for the whole course of your degree

Med sci has gone down too at USYD.. a bit of a worry... i wouldnt mind doing it and end up doing pathology or research/lab work in the end. Hmm... depends what you major in too what's the difference between the Bsc majors and the BMedSci majors?

its not too bad. it repeats itself alot though and its based on the same thing: tangents/normals/locus

re: everyone are your schools doing it the same as mine? teaching a 3 unit topic then a 4 unit topic? or do you have seperate classes for 3 and 4 unit?
