Two of my good friends are in ADFA. The first six weeks are basically hell.... total boot camp. Then they start uni and things get a bit more relaxed, but their lives are still so highly regulated.... and the thing about the fights is right, they often bring army people down to albury because...

Excel was not very good. It actually contains too much irrelevant information in my opinion. The HTA Study Guide is excellent for WW1 and Indochina plus some of the other electives. It's Germany section is lacking however.

Our course is pass/fail. There are no exams. So basically I just hand in my assignments and do bugger all else. And frankly, I'm enjoying just cruising along right now. After last year, it's a welcome break.

I think that it is good that they protest, but I wouldn't get involved with the student association until I saw what their idea of a protest was. A peaceful protest is one thing, but I would never be involved in the type of stuff they did at Monash.

My course is stupid, what can I say?

Basically all I have to do for my course is hand in the assignments. It doesn't matter if I fall behind because there are no exams and each week is an entirely different topic.

I'm currently doing BA Communications (Journalism)... next year I want to transfer and do it as a double with International Studies. If UTS decides to increase HECS, will I have to pay the increased rate for all of the subjects of my new double degree (if I get the transfer), because I have...

I don't get my money's worth. I used to pay $30 a year to go to my government high school and I actually learnt more there. Some of my lectures (actually most) are so pointless. We also have the same problems of overcrowded classrooms that are under resourced.

I don't drink a lot, but I don't have a problem with people that drink by any means. I do drink, just not a lot. But I agree with lex, I hate it when people try and impress you with their drinking stories.... I mean sometimes they can be amusing, but frankly I don't care how many tequila shots...

Omigod I just got home from my CIE tute.... I seriously wanted to kill this girl in our CIE class today...... she was driving me nuts..... plus there is a guy who is in nearly all of my classes who never gives anyone else a chance to say anything.... grrr
