For the BA you need to do a table a arts major. Why would you want to do a BA if you were majoring in physics?

Re: Do I really need a tutor to get good UAI? You definately don't. A few from my grade got high 99s without tutoring. Generally the ones that are tutored will do pretty well, but when they get to uni and have to start doing it themselves they tend to not go so well

Its the school cert, you really shouldn't be stressing. Although for HSC and onwards, I reckon closed book exams are pretty pointless. I don't see any real need to memorise so much, research skills are much more useful.
