    Use a 2d or 3d(much harder) game engine if you want to develop a mobile game. For regular apps you'd need to learn java(android) or swift/objective c (iOS).

    A uni degree alone doesn't give you a job. You don't simply "cover" technical jobs by doing comp sci. 99% of the time, you don't learn what employers want in comp sci.

    Oh I see.:P I dont know much about UTS software engo. Its funny how UTS doesn't have a decent comp sci course.

    IT and CS are quite different. You do some programming in both but that doesn't mean the courses are the same. Also a higher atar requirement doesn't mean a course is better.

    OP, please ignore this as it is very wrong. If your goal is to work in the finance sector then IS is obviously the way to go. The main focus of IS is business and creating systems for businesses to use. IS also compliments Commerce very nicely as opposed to CS which is more engineering focused...
