Yeah it's really important just to put them in the order in which you want to do them... fav course at the top, 2nd fav, 3rd fav... etc.

I did poetry, it's hard work and a significantly smaller number of people do it compared to short stories and critical responses, which would explain the differing numbers in the showcase. If it's what you want to do the most, do it!!! One medium is not valued more than another by the markers...

Thanks for that salad, what career prospects do graduates from the writing course have besides being writers? Could they write in magazines, or work in publishing perhaps? Could it also act as a path in to journalism?

Yeah I know what you all mean, if I read mine I think that maybe I should have changed this or that or whatever!!! I guess we won't have any sort of closure perhaps until we get our marks!

It's not bad, I'm not reallyu a sci-fi fan but it's Ok and it's somewhat interesting to study.

We had done all our prescribed texts by the end of T2 this year.... now we are just doing revision type stuff

Well, I'm just interested to know how people are enjoying the courses (esp journalism or writing and contemp culture), like if they are happy with the course, if it's interesting, etc. Just some general opinions about the courses would be great :)

15, yikes!!! No wonder the UAI cutoff is so darn high!!!! Sukiyaki, do you know someone doing the BA Media Comm at Syd, or like did you get info from the open day or something? Because I'm quite interested in that course but I live in the country and haven't been able to get much...

So, I've heard about how fantastic these communications courses are at UTS, but I have not yet met anyone who actually does one of them!!!! Is there anybody out there that does communications at UTS???? I would love to ask some questions and stuff!!!

Hehe I love your two different speelings of Wodonga (Woodonga and Woddonga) hehe! Wodonga outskirts... might have been Border Christian College perhaps? I dunno my way around Wodonga very well lol I avoid it pretty much all together.... Wodonga is a far far far greater hole than Albury!

If possible, getting a tutor makes things easier to understand as well.

Yep! For the internal assessment you have do do a proposal, a viva voce and a report :)
