Themes in texts perscribe the values. For example, the theme of consumerism could convey the value that consumerism is bad..... that's how I see it.

What marks would be considered a distinction average at university? How hard is it to get a distinction average, say, in arts courses?

Just curious. I was looking at possibly doing Liberal Studies at Sydney Uni and then doing a postgrad journalism diploma or something.... What jobs could one get if they had a liberal studies degree? Just curious!
