I used to use generic essays until teachers kept emphasising not to. Do you recommend it? How do you cope if you receive a really specific question that is difficult to adapt your essay to?

Study notes and practice questions would have to be the best method for me. I also feel like a lot of it just comes from memory so I also make flash cards.

Hi, So I know a thesis is your argument but how exactly does this differ from your topic sentence in your intro? Usually my topic sentence for my intro involves a statement showing that I agree/disagree with the question... Would that be my thesis? Sorry if this is a really stupid question...
